Developing the next generation of cricketers in Mason and the Greater Cincinnati community through structured coaching, competitive cricket, teamwork and sportsmanship.
About CYCC
Cincinnati Youth Cricket Club was created by local families who wanted their children to have what cricket-playing countries take for granted: proper coaching, a real team, and a season of competitive matches.
We are volunteer-run and coach-led. Every dollar of membership goes back into equipment, jerseys, facilities and the coaching that develops our players.
A clear pathway from first-time cricketer through development cricket to competitive league and tournament play.
Run by volunteer parents who handle scheduling, logistics, equipment and game operations so coaches can coach.
Protective equipment standards, a published code of conduct and a clear player welfare policy for every session.
Structured skills work, match exposure and feedback, so improvement is something players can actually see.
What we offer
Sessions led by qualified coaches, with age-appropriate technical work in batting, bowling and fielding.
Weekend outdoor sessions through the season on turf and matting wickets, building match-ready skills.
A winter program that keeps players sharp through the off-season with nets, drills and fitness.
Regular fixtures against regional youth sides, giving every player genuine match experience.
CYCC-hosted and regional tournaments, including the Future Stars U11 Cup and Crossroads T20 Clash.
Individual development focus areas, video review and progression through the CYCC age groups.
Player pathway
Players do not all start at the same point or move at the same speed. Three overlapping stages mean every child is challenged without being overwhelmed — and our U11, U13 and U15 squads already play East Midwest Hub games in the USA Cricket Junior Pathway.
Grip, stance, a safe bowling action, catching and the laws of the game. No experience needed.
Repeatable technique, shot selection, bowling in areas, and the fitness base to play a full match.
Match tactics, role clarity, pressure situations and preparation for league and representative cricket.

Volunteer coaches
Volunteer Coach
Coaches across all four CYCC age groups, from a child's first session with a soft ball through to players preparing for competitive cricket. Works on getting the fundamentals right early — grip, stance, a repeatable bowling action — on the view that technique built properly at the start saves years of correcting habits later.
Volunteer Coach
Coaches across all four CYCC age groups and is comfortable with complete beginners and experienced players turning up to the same session. Keeps groups small and moving so every child leaves having actually batted and bowled, rather than having spent the morning waiting for a turn.
From our families
Cricket is new to most of the families who join CYCC. These are the people who were exactly where you are now.
Tell us how it is going
If your child plays for CYCC, a couple of honest sentences from you will do more to reassure the next new family than anything we can write ourselves.
