What we collect

When you register a player we collect the player’s name, date of birth, age group, uniform size, relevant medical or allergy information, and parent or guardian contact details including emergency contacts. When you contact us through this website we collect the name, email, phone number and message you provide.

How we use it

We use this information only to run the club:

• • Placing players in the right age group and training session
• • Team selection, fixtures and tournament entries
• • Contacting parents about schedules, changes and cancellations
• • Responding in a medical or safety situation
• • Ordering uniforms and managing membership

What we never do

• • We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone
• • We do not publish a child’s date of birth, address, phone number or email on this website
• • We do not share medical information beyond the coaches and officials who need it
• • We do not pass parent contact details to sponsors

Maps on this website

The Where we play page embeds Google Maps so you can see each ground before you drive to it. When one of those maps loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, exactly as it would if you opened Google Maps yourself. That is Google’s processing, governed by its privacy policy rather than ours.

• • The maps load only when you scroll to them, so they never load if you do not reach that part of the page
• • We do not send Google anything about you, and we receive nothing back about who looked at a map
• • Every ground also has a plain directions link, if you would rather not load the map at all

Photographs and video

Photographs and video are taken at CYCC sessions, fixtures and events. They may be used on this website, in club communications and on club social media to promote youth cricket.

• • Parents give or withhold photo consent during registration, and can change that decision at any time
• • We do not publish a child’s full name next to an image without asking the parent first
• • We do not publish images that identify a child alongside personal contact details
• • Any image can be removed on request, normally within a few days

To request removal of an image, email info@cincinnatiyouthcricket.com with a description of the photo and where it appears.

Storage and access

Registration records are kept in club-controlled accounts accessible only to the volunteers who need them for their role. We keep records for as long as a player is active with the club and a reasonable period afterwards, then delete them.

This website

This site is a static website. It does not use advertising trackers or sell visitor data. Basic, aggregated traffic statistics may be collected by our hosting provider to understand how many people visit. The contact form sends its contents to the club by email.

Your choices

You can ask us at any time to see what information we hold about your family, correct it, or delete it where we are not required to keep it. Write to info@cincinnatiyouthcricket.com.
