Heritage Oak Park (HOP)

We play at Sundin Fields inside the park. Heritage Oak is Mason's largest park at 79 acres, so allow a few minutes to find the right field after you park.

Quinn Park

Listed by the city as Thomas P. Quinn Park. A smaller ground than Heritage Oak, so the walk from the car is short.

Arriving

  • • Ten minutes early for training, report time for matches
  • • Cricket grounds are often inside larger parks — allow time to find the pitch
  • • Follow the CYCC kit, not the address pin, for the last hundred yards
  • • A coach checks every player in by name before the session starts

Watching

  • • Most grounds have little or no shade — bring a chair, a hat and sunscreen
  • • Water for your player and for yourself, especially in July and August
  • • Stay outside the boundary while play is live
  • • Parents are welcome at every session, and we would rather you stayed

Weather and safety

  • • Cancellations are decided as early as possible on the day
  • • Lightning within range stops play immediately, without exception
  • • A parent or guardian stays contactable for the whole session
  • • Tell your coach if your child needs to leave early

Help us find
more space

We are grateful for the Mason parks we play at, but field access is still the single biggest constraint on how many children CYCC can coach. Cricket needs more space than most youth sports, and grounds that will host it in Greater Cincinnati are scarce.

If you have a connection to one — a school, a park board, a church, a corporate campus, a sports complex with an open field on a Saturday morning — that introduction is worth more to this club than a donation.

Make an introduction

  • Schools

    A field after hours, a gym through the winter, or a PE slot where a coach can run a free demo session for your students.

  • Parks and rec departments

    An underused ballfield can be converted for youth cricket with a matting pitch and no permanent change to the site.

  • Businesses and campuses

    Corporate grounds sit empty at weekends. Hosting CYCC is a visible community contribution and comes with sponsor recognition.

  • Indoor space

    November to March we need height and length more than floor area — a warehouse bay or a full-size gym keeps our players developing through the winter.
